Re-registration, Extension & Restoration
CS Executive registration is valid for 5 years. If you do not complete within this period, you can apply for extension or re-registration.
CS Executive registration is valid for 5 years from the date of registration. You must clear both modules of the CS Executive examination within this period. If you are unable to complete within 5 years, you must apply for re-registration or extension.
If your CS Executive registration has expired, you can apply for re-registration through the ICSI student portal. You must pay the re-registration fee (as notified by ICSI). Module-wise pass credits from the previous registration are typically carried forward, subject to ICSI rules. Apply before the exam enrolment cut-off to appear in the next session.
Subject-specific exemptions earned under the same syllabus are generally retained on re-registration if they are within the validity period (typically 3 years from the date of grant). If exemptions have lapsed, they cannot be carried forward. Check the ICSI notification for your batch at the time of re-registration for the exact exemption carry-forward rules.
